Flights, Camera, Action... Oxygen 4 announce opening of their office atPinewood Studios
Oxygen 4 Aviation have announced the opening of their implant office at
Pinewood Studios to cater exclusively for the entertainment industry.
Head of Oxygen 4 Aviation's Entertainment and Media division; Alexis James
says "We have decided to branch out and open an office at Pinewood Studios
to facilitate and ease the burdens faced by the heavy production schedules
and to be on hand to provide a 24 hour Air charter support service for the
worldwide film industry". James continues "Private air charter has
dramatically increased over the past 5 years; this includes the
entertainment sector in particular. We chose to have our offices at Pinewood
Studios because it is one of the premier and respected studios throughout
the world and through the newly in place technology, has links to many of
the production companies that would utilise air charter".
The use of air charter within the Film industry aides the production offices
with time management and logistic travel needs. One of the major benefits of
air charter is that one is able to fly production teams, directors and
actors directly into an airport located close to the set; working with their
own timetables not with those of the regular airlines.
Additional benefits include the actors being able to prepare and relax on
board as well as being able to have confidential discussions on chartered
aircraft, without being overheard by fellow passengers on regular airlines.
Of course security is paramount and the private aircraft allows ease of
access and added security of personnel and baggage.
Oxygen 4 presently works within the industry assisting productions
throughout the entire journey of the film; from scouting locations,
production preparation, principal photography, though to press junkets.
